Movies in the Park (tm) are free
outdoor movie festivals that are held in parks throughout
North Georgia all summer long. Locations for the 2009
Georgia Movies in the Park series include Canton,
Dawsonville, Cumming and Johns Creek.
At a Movies in the Park event, you can expect plenty of
family friendly activities. Prior to each movie, which
are shown under the stars, is a festival that includes face
painting, children's activities, inflatables, vendors and
concessions. The outdoor movie itself is shown on
Southern Outdoor Cinema's huge inflatable movie screen
with pictures that are bright & colorful and sound that
is crystal clear.
Admission to the Movies in
the Park events are FREE. Just bring your
blankets or low-back lawn chairs.
