There are two Movies in the Park events planned for downtown Canton this year.  Sponsors of both events are include Northside Hospital Cherokee and the City of Canton 


About the event:
Looking for a low-cost or free family event in Atlanta that are close to home this summer?   

This summer  Southern Outdoor Cinema is bringing it's Movies in the Park events to downtown Canton.  Movies in the Park is more than a movies under the stars, it is a family festival that concludes with a movie being played on a big screen in the park.  Pre-movie festival activities include face painting, children's activities, moonwalk and concessions

Blockbuster movies will be shown on a huge inflatable movie screen.  The audience will be in awe of the outdoor movie presentation which consists of bright and colorful images and crystal clear sound.  You will feel like you are watching just like in a movie theater except with the stars above.  

The events are free.  Food vendors are available at each of the events.  Just bring a blanket or a low-back lawn chair.   Come early to enjoy the festival or to get a good spot on the lawn.

Please leave your pets at home.
